Our Company

Maria Gentekou and Kalliopi Legaki founded Portolanos Films, a film and TV production company, in September 1999.

We’ve worked with eminent people in Greece and abroad for the production of documentary and short feature films with great success.

During Renaissance, portolan charts indicated the harbours where navigators could get their supplies in order to continue their navigation.

Today, Portolanos Films has been mapping its own routes in the cinema fields of our world and has become a compass to every filmmaker.

Our company is not based entirely on the commercial value of its productions. A romantic air of freedom and creation is what prevails, as well as the passion for everything we do.
